Craft Trail at the Thames Festival, 10th & 11th September

I will be at the Thames Festival this weekend as part of the Craft Trail.  I will be on the Avenue of Arts and Crafts between London Bridge and Tower Bridge, come see me there!

Nora Folk & Alexis Harding

When I was in Liverpool recently I saw this fantastic collar by Nora Folk in the Walker Art Gallery.  It's made of hand dyes nylon monofilament knotted together around the neck.  Beautiful in person.

At the same gallery I also saw this stunning painting by Alexis Harding.  This image doesn't capture the sense of movement that you get looking at in person.  There's so much texture in it because of the layers of oil and gloss paint that I just love.
